Launching the business presence of a truly global brand
Background
The launch of Tripadvisor for Business was a truly collaborative effort under a tight timeline. Together with the Creative Director, multiple Marketing Managers, Project Managers, a Content Designer, a Copywriter, a Junior Designer, and Developers, we created a new hub for B2B customers to easily find the product suites they need.
In thinking through the design of the T4B website, we realized we needed to rework ALL areas of the B2B brand…not just the ability to easily find products. This meant sourcing new photography for every existing piece of content, reexamining Tripadvisor’s custom imagery, and building new mockups of Tripadvisor’s featured products.
At the top of the page, users can filter for their business type (Restaurant, Hotel, Advertising, or simply Business) and their immediate need. The page automatically sorts relevant content and product solutions so they are front and center.
Users can use the dropdown menu to filter their experience based on the type of business they run:
Hotel, Restaurant, Bar, Spa, or general business.
A robust content engine automatically updates featured articles based on blog readership
Throughout the site, users can filter content categories with just a click
We selected all new photography to further differentiate Tripadvisor for Business from the consumer-facing website. We also created new in situ mockups of the T4B interface that have a simplified look and feel to direct users to the most important information.
